Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted Thomas Muller is not for sale.
Manchester United had been linked with a move for the World
Cup winner and reports in Bild claimed that the Premier League giants
had tabled an offer of £70.5m bid for player.Louis van Gaal, who coached Muller during his time in charge of Bayern Munich, has already signed Bastian Schweinsteiger from the Bavarian giants and has previously hinted at signing a striker - although he has subsequently changed his mind - but whatever his intentions it appears a move for Muller will prove fruitless.
"We would be out of our minds to sell Muller."
